I recently had the idea of documenting the process of Stuart and I creating the Zine Management System, mainly for refernce later, to learn from mistakes in the process, and possibily to write a tutorial for kirupa.com about it. Another thing we (Stuart and I) have been considering is selling licenses for the ZMS to help build revenue for the magazine; first we need to create a high quality system though.

A little parody on the whole "What would Jesus do?" thing, the WWDD in the title stands for "What would Dirk do?". Pretty simple, huh?

The Opportunity

Brian Gardner recently decided to give away a few copies of his excellent Revolution News Theme, a sub-theme of his quickly growing Revolution Theme. Although few know it, I'm acting as a managing editor of the most unknown online magazine on the planet, Revision Magazine. While still in the formative stages (We don't even have a single issue out yet!), I personally feel that there's a lot of potential to do something really useful and really cool with it. Kind of like a more formal Smashing Magazine, so to say.

The Question

So here's my request:

Dear Brian, Although you've likely already read the first part of the post, I'll give you a little summary of what it says just to annoy you. Although small, Revision Magazine has some potential, and having a high-quality theme such as Revolution News on our front-end would really give us the opportunity to form a great online magazine.
